Keiichi and Rena learn that Rika and Satoko disappeared. They confront Mion at her house because the police do not have enough probable cause for a search warrant. Mion admits that Rika and Satoko visit the house. She asks to have a private talk with Keiichi before the police arrest her, and she lures Keiichi to a torture chamber. He sees Shion in the dungeon, before Mion knocks him out. Mion prepares to torture Keiichi, but stops after Keiichi, believing Mion to be possessed by Oyashiro and begging Mion to spare Shion for the body. Mion asks whether he wants to be spared as well, which Keiichi says is irrelevant compared to Shion's safety. Mion hears a noise and assumes Rena brought the police and tasers Keiichi unconscious. Keiichi and Shion leave the torture chamber. Mion stabs Keiichi in the stomach. At the hospital, Keiichi learns that Shion fell to her death from the apartment. Oishi asks Keiichi if he was certain it was Mion who attacked him. He confirms it. Oishi reveals Mion died at the bottom of the well. According to the autopsy report, Takano died hours before she broke into shed. After Oishi leaves, Mion ambushes Keiichi.
